Sphaxx® is a next-generation raw material that we grow under controlled conditions. It retains all the benefits of natural sphagnum but with superior purity and quality. This approach ensures a more reliable, sustainable, and predictable alternative to traditional sphagnum harvesting.

Step 1

For the cultivation of your
orchid, you only need a suitable pot and a Sphaxx® plate.

Hand holds a young orchid plant with strong green leaves. A Sphaxx plate is wrapped around the root ball of the plant.

Step 2

Wrap the Sphaxx® plate around the root ball of the orchid and pot them together.

Two young orchid plants seen from above. The Sphaxx plate on plant one is dry. The plant pot is not completely filled. On plant two, the Sphaxx plate is wet and swollen. It fills the entire plant pot with the root ball.

Step 3

Now, add water allowing the Sphaxx® plate to expand, perfectly enclosing the roots of your orchid.
